Port Elizabeth

The Maranatha Centre is the head office of the organisation and accommodates our Child and Youth Care Centre, Siyakatala, we also have an outreach to destitute adults and families who volunteer their services in exchange for accommodation and care. The centre is situated in Southdene close to the Air Force Museum. We are curently under lockdown as per Government instructions due to convid-19 virus. https://sacoronavirus.co.za/

Nieu Bethesda

Maranatha Nieu Bethesda is our new project in the small town close to Graaff Reinet. This is a community outreach project and we have several programmes in the community run by leaders in the community. This includes feeding, reading, drama, spiritual, recreational and sport programmes. Our long term vision is to establish a CYCC for the Primary School Children from the surrounding areas, instead of bringing them to Port Elizabeth

Project Development

Maranatha Project Developments is our sustainability project. The projects established under this company has three aims: • Income generation for Maranatha Streetworkers Trust • Job Creation for unemployed people, and • Providing goods and services to Maranatha’s projects. These projects currently include Maranatha Aquaponics, Maranatha Training Centre and Maranatha Piggery.

Awards

In 2016 our Programme Manager Harrison Nash was awarded a British Citizen Award (BCA)for international Achievement as endorsed by the British Royal Family for his ongoing work in South Africa through the organisation since 2007. He also received a Gold Star Award and Community Honours Reconition from his home City of Plymouth, England

Graduation

We are beaming with pride today at our oldest boys graduation ceremony after completing his Higher Certificate in Business Management through PMI to great success! A shining example of what can be achieved for those young people who make the most of the opportunities through our child & youth care centre! We are so grateful for the bursary gifted to him to complete this course. Big congratulations to this young man!!
